Got it today in MI. Tried to confirm on web and it didn't like my input. Tried to call but hung up after 5 minutes of waiting.
And with Fidelity also dumping AmEx, I will soon be AmEx-less. That added warranty was a nice perk, though I've never used it.I got the Citi mailer today. Two features that the new card does not have are the double warranty and one year loss/theft protection. ..........

One other item, this is the first card I've had that doesn't have "raised numbers" for the account - guess I won't be using an imprint machine with it ;-)
What I meant was that AmEx extends your warranty on anything you buy with the card up to an extra year, independent of Costco.Thought that was a Costco service not from AMEX. Are you talking about the extended 2 year warranty on electronics? I'm a fairly new Costco member, is this what you mean?

Thanks. I checked my Costco card and it is indeed a Signature card with the extended warranty benefits.Doesn't VISA also offer an additional year of warranty? I believe this is a function of a VISA Signature card.
