I'm going to go out on a limb on this, but from 25 years of child rearing - 2 boys and a girl and using completely unsupported scientific measures...I'm going to say it and I'm going to say it LOUD - girls require more maintenance.
And while I'm at it, grown women are expensive too! Just my 2 cents.
