This is probably out there on the net somewhere, but I thought I would share it because it is quite funny:

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: That's great. I just emailed it to my wife. We got married last year so it really hit home

Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slowdown in the performance of the flower and jewelry applications that had operated flawlessly under the Boyfriend 5.0 system. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs such as Romance 9.9 but installed undesirable programs such as NFL 7.4, NBA 3.2 and NHL 4.1. Conversation 8.0 also no longer runs and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I’ve tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems but to no avail. What can I do?

Desperate

Dear Desperate:
First, keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 was an entertainment package while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Try entering the command C:/ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and installing Tears 6.2. Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Guilt 3.3 and Flowers 7.5. But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to such background applications as Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please remember Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will create Snoring Loudly WAV files. DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 or another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0 to default to the program Girlfriend 9.2, which runs in the background and has been known to introduce potentially serious viruses into the operating system. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program but it does have a limited memory and can’t learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to enhance his system performance.
Good Luck,
Tech Support

I bought the 1995 version of Wife 8.0, called Wife 1.0. Wife 1.0 was truly groundbreaking as an app.........:)

Wife 2.0 is much more compatible than Girlfriend 1.0 was. In fact, I installed and uninstalled the same version of Girlfriend 1.0 three separate times before canning it for good!

"Yes Dear" runs an awful lot, but it's been stable for 17 years. :flowers:

Husband 1.0 w*rked beautifully for me for years. :D
I am currently trying out the beta version of Husband2B 2.0.
I also got Flowers 1.0, TrueLove 3.5, and Snookums 4.3 as free installs. YesDear comes with full lifetime upgrades.
Husband2B unfortunately has an 8 year development schedule. There have been numerous Service Pack upgrades over the past 4 years.
Hopefully all the system bugs will be w*rked out by the final delivery date.

That's great Purron! I knew you would come through!!!!! :D

At my age, the term "boyfriend" makes me think I'd end up in jail. Perhaps "manfriend" would work better.

My mac version of wife8.0 came only with applications youneedto4.0 and youhaveto4.1 that activate subprograms: washmycar, pickupthemail, cutthegrass, buymejewelry, helpmecleanthehouse, takeoutthegarbage, dothedishes, answerthephone, plowsnow, buygroceries, buymeanewcar and so many others that I cant think of them all now. They can self-activate at any time.

These applications initially came available on my Apple 2E in 1982 and and have progressed through the years as other subprograms were developed. All are present on the Imac of today, with more subprograms to be developed as needs arise.

Husband1.0 seems to have come with a virus.

Try downloading the Bacon antivirus removal tool. My copy of Husband 1.0 ran much better after running this;)
