How do I choose a Ring doorbell?

and a wyze camera? Wyze has an inexpensive plan if you want that could send you notifications.

I don't know what protection Ring has against hackers. Hopefully it is more robust than some govt. agencies, banks, etc.

Hope is not a strategy, of course.

My strategy is to avoid centralized databases like Ring's.
