It's Wednesday weigh ins! 2007-2022

210 for me, last year this time I was 53 lbs heavier. I am 6'5" so the girls at work say Stop Losing !!

Been running 3 miles 6-7X per week. I run on the boardwalk (wooden) because I still can @ 58 YO.
 
I'm attempting to gain weight again. Haven't been successful the last couple tries. I don't want to look thru 173 pages to find my last post so i'll just start new. 32 y/o male 6'6"

Target: 200 lbs 7-15% body fat

183 April 4 - feeling fit and trim all over.
183 April 25 - I'm up to 30 reps with the resitance band leg lifts. I've played virtual ping pong on my PS3 almost every day. Methinks I have a fun (important!) exercise routine going, one I might actually stick with. :)
184 June 16 - I can't believe I haven't posted to this thread since April. I actually got down to 180 in early June, but my recent back muscle problem prevented me from doing my usual activities. No problem, I'll be back in the saddle again by next week. :D

I weighed in this morning and I am still maintaining my goal weight . I have cut way down on my portion sizes and I think that is the key for me .

I weighed in today and I am up one pound .Time to cut back the carbs !
Nah, I am up and down by a pound almost daily. Yesterday I was 163, this morning 164.2. I think those bounces have to do with how much water you retain and that involves a lot of things. If your average over many days starts to edge up that is a different mater.

This is my first weigh-in since April 18th. No scales for the lasxt 3 months while on vacation. While away we did lots of hiking (over 250 miles), much of it at altitude. However we ate outrageously, and inconsistently, compared to how we normally eat. Much of the time I had a craving for sweet things and ate pancakes or sticky pastries for breakfast, plus ice cream in the late afternoon. Sometimes a large cooked breakfast, then a granola bar and apple while out, followed by a normal evening meal. We both expected to have gained weight when we got back, as we did last year after 7 months in England. (I put on 8lbs despite intense hiking - 625 miles).

This is the lowest weight I've been since my WW year of 2003, and DW reckons she has not seen her new low since before the kids were born. We've been back 4 days now, and so far no increase in weight, but we don't expect it to last since we simply don't exercise in the same way we do on these vacations.

Whatever the reasons, we are delighted with the unexpected weight loss.

OK, I need to start posting again. Last time was in January! And the numbers aren't pretty. In January we got seriously into the mode of finding our new house as our rental (after selling our prior house) was about up. We were looking at places about 60 miles from where we were living so for a couple of months we were doing major driving to the new area and eating out all the time. At one point, I actually gained 5 pounds in one week (and I average losing about .5 pound a week when I work hard at it). Then, after we bought and moved in, we ate out a lot while getting the house put together. By then I was off track on food and just stagnated for a few months. So....

I weighed in this morning I am still one pound over my goal weight. I weighed myself last week and I was up two pounds so I really started watching my eating.
