Give me a museum and I'll fill it. (Picasso) Give me a forum ...
Not long ago, I made a post on the ‘what did you do today’ thread about losing my momma. She died the last day in October.
While I was in MO taking care of my momma’s funeral arrangements, DH’s mom was in the hospital. Thankfully she seemed to be on the mend. Unfortunately, that did not last long.
She was put back in intensive care and we made another trip to Memphis, TN last Tuesday, the 15th. Just two and a half weeks after my momma died, my MIL passed away. Her funeral was this morning…she was 77 years old.
We just got back home a little while ago…driving through the pouring rain and fog. So….at the time of this writing I feel rather foggy.
We were so fortunate to have such wonderful mommas. But I can’t help but feel it’s not quite fair to lose them both in such a short period of time.
The road has been bumpy in bbbamI land this year. Seems to me the road should smooth out a bit…at least for a little while….right?
Hmmmm…on second thought, perhaps I shouldn’t ask this question. Just keep eating my Cheerios and take it as it comes..... As I always say, 'one day at a time'....
