Bad way to end. Zag's looked flat footed and never seemed to catch their stride.
Ah well, congrats Baylor.

I agree and I think UCLA would have actually matched up better with Baylor.
Baylors' athletic ability at all the positions was amazing. Gonzaga just looked tired compared to Baylor.

Even though I had picked Gonzaga in my brackets, I was at least hoping for a competitive finals game. But Baylor took control from the start and never looked back. I think once they were up by 10, Gonzaga drew within 9 only once.

Even DW, who is not a basketball fan, observed "what is wrong with the team in white, the other team is just running through them!" Kudos to Baylor, they left no doubt they were the better team last night.

One issue that Gonzaga has is that they play in an easy conference. They are not playing against high quality opponents in their conference which I believes hurts them when they have to play against really good teams in the NCAA tournament . I thought Baylor played really well and were much stronger.

My daughter was among the thousands of students watching the game at McLane Stadium (Baylor’s football). Not much social distancing going on, but at least they were outside.
