New Scam

I have been receiving a new scam that says it is from Outlook. It states we have had xx complaints about emails containing virus's and malware. It has a link asking you to run a scan. Mods feel free to move this to another appropriate thread.

I got this one yesterday. I deleted it immediately.

Sort of related is an email pretending to be a failed email being sent to me.. They try to make it look real by making it all text, with an attached .eml file.

I delete them.. as I know clicking on the .eml is going to do bad things.

I try to delete these things before even opening them.

I have my Outlook Junk E-Mail Options set on "high" (from a list of No, Low, High). The high option warns that some regular email might be affected, I've not had any problems.

I get a lot of that in my spam folder, doesn't make it to my view unless I go looking in there.
