television suggestions?

All our flat screens are 10+ years old. This week was in the Samsung store and they have an 85” that blew us away. Not like we are going to spend $6k for a new TV! Too cheap by far!

Our 40 inch TV is from 2006, and shows no sign of failing. I can feel the heat coming off the screen, which makes me suspect that it would be expensive to run if we used it more than we do.

I'm about ready to replace ours, but don't have wall space for a set larger than 55 inches. Expect to spend about 1/10th the price of that 85 inch set you mentioned.
