LBYM is most important in order to retire early.
You never know when/if your health may put stop on your employment, may happen earlier than planned, be prepared.
Traveling at least twice per year was our hobby but being 63 we are not sure how long it is going to continue.
Everything in our lives have limitation including our life expectancy so act correspondingly.
I would say balance is key in terms of work vs. play vs saving vs spending.
Don’t put off things you want to do until you retire. You don’t know what life will bring in the future.
We just retired and moved to our retirement house in another state and a month later COVID hit and many of our plans for our retirement lifestyle were put on hold.
Life is what happens when your making other plans. Be smart.
