I recall a mother's friend was bed bound, to the extent that she wore diapers.
She had cigarettes delivered to the home and had the delivery boy bring them to her bed. No, I don't remember all the details as to how she got the money/paid in the first place, etc. It is my friend's disbelief that dear Mom had the cigarettes delivered (and brought to Mom in her room) that sticks in my mind.

DW is the MVP of Team Mdlerth
DW is truly a trooper. I booked her a spa visit on Friday with 2 of our daughters. I'll send her on another one next month after we return from summer vacation. She loves big family vacation trips, although I find them exhausting.
She is off her crutches but still has some discomfort in her knee so she isn't yet up for walking long distances. We don't heal as fast as we did at age 20. But it's certain she'll recover quicker with our household back to "normal".
