False Tire Pressure Monitor Light

They help much of the population that doesn't pay attention to maintenance. I think they saved lives.

DW had a nail in a tire and probably would have let it run flat. The early warning was good for her.

I think the TPMS is useful even for those that do pay attention to maintenance.
Even though I check the pressure on a monthly basis, the one other time the light came on was with a nail in the tire. I doubt that I would have noticed except for that light unless by coincidence the monthly schedule called for a check the next day.
