Surprisingly, the same handful of jiffy lubes in so cal got caught doing this stuff by the same news crew over a period of about 3-4 years. Each time the jiffy lube management swore they were going to re-educate their employees to stop this stuff. Turns out they were just teaching them how to spot news crews and hidden cameras. No joke.
I used to take my truck to jiffy lube until the dealer told me that the chassis hadnt been lubed...ever. Three years. When I called the JL manager, he said their computer says that truck has no lube points. Two zerks, plain as day, right on the bottom of the ball joints. He offered me a half price oil change to make it up to me.
No thanks.
