I'm all stuffed up!

Ok, I'm on my 3rd glass. No major blow out yet. Not totally horrible but gonna get old soon. Hey Rich, would it be ok to add a little sprite or mello yello for a little taste? :)

That's what my Crystal Lite reference was about. Helps the flavor a bit. Good luck.

I'm not sure just how far you plan to take the round by round commentary, but I think I'll pass on the next round and pick you back up tomorrow afternoon ;).

Ohhhhhh.....I'm a little slow. Thanks for the tip. I will follow up tomorrow after the procedure. No need to ruin everyones dinner tonight. Anyone want to pull my finger? ;)

"Crystal"? Uh, oh, I thought he said "Cristal"!

Does that probe have a BAC sniffer on it?

Nyquil and a beer! No really, the Nyquil is great for me, knocks me out all night, and strangely, I'm without symptoms for about 3 hours in the morning afterwards - which is more than any other drug has done for me. That three hour window always kept me sane and made the other 15 waking hours tolerable.

NORDS, ROTFLMAO!!! I'm seeing you and 50 Cent knockin' back a case of it with your homies.

I have a bad cold. I rarely get colds. I wash my hands a lot. I remember getting one a couple of years ago. I just read most adults get a couple of colds a year. :-\ I used to have a secretary who I swear had them 4 or 5 times a year.

Yeah but, you don't wash them enough.

Not only did she give me her cold, she took the couch, the blankie, and the #%^*%#!!!-ing TV remote. What's a DH to do? Maybe leave the toilet seat up before I go to bed?

So we can use this thread to jump right into:

How about COLlective Bargaining Unit as my unions contract is about to expire?

Man, do you have a death wish?

It's just a TV remote. You can buy an extra one at any Radio Shack, and then you both can play channel games...

I still have the remote, as I lay on the couch with my computer.

Watched too much HGTV yesterday. Even commercials. Commercials for cholesterol lowering drugs interspersed with double stuffed Oreo commercials.

Dog52, are you back from your "procedure" yet?

I suffered the consequences before the hoped for event. She, DW--Demon Wife, caught me and sent me to the local Chinese take-out for hot & sour soup last nite. Plus, my stash of Tylenol had disappeared. When it rains sniffles, it pours drips. Ohhh, woe, woe, unto me. Where's my Target-quil?

Update on the scope. It was like everyone said, the procedure was a piece of cake. Doc says no problems so no need to have another for 5-10 years. I told him to put me down for the 10 year option. :) But I tell you what, the prep work last night was hell. Up and down all night long going to the bathroom. :(

Time for a nap.

You forgot all the Viagra pecker-picker-upper commercials.

Hmmm...

She didn't request pickles and ice cream for dessert by any chance, did she??

Sweet dreams.

You'll have to tell CT that it wasn't so bad when he gets back from his Alaska trip. . .

Is there a mommy after 50 forum?

Noooo!

Rich: She, Demon Wife, rarely catches MY innuendo. As you and all else know she specifically goes out of her way to solve that "I'm all stuffed up!" feeling. :-X

I don't know if anyone on this long thread has suggested these prevention products. But I use Emergen-C, a powdered vitamin product. A lot of teachers also use Airborne, a fizzy vitamin/mineral tablet and swear they never catch the colds that the students bring to school.
Airborne is rather expensive. Emergen-C is basically the same, much cheaper. Their value is that they dissolve in water and get into your system more quickly, and completely than some pills, which sometimes are never dissolved at all.
