Since it didn't say "in the title", then these count - they have references to weather in them

Hmmmm, The album "Heavy Weather" by "Weather Report" doesn't have any weather themed songs on it. I'm crushed.

I thought HFWR would beat me to the first two, though I loved his picks!

Weather is sometimes the cause of sadness and catastrophe, and I chose a song aimed more at that angle. Hope that's OK.

This song was written about the flooding in 1927, but was close to our hearts after Hurricane Katrina. The title is "Louisiana 1927", not "Katrina Tribute" (oh well). Anyways, I think it is beautiful and moving and Aaron Neville sings it in a way that will tear your heart out.

What has happened down here is the wind have changed
Clouds roll in from the north and it started to rain
Rained real hard and rained for a real long time
Six feet of water in the streets of Evangeline

The river rose all day
The river rose all night
Some people got lost in the flood
Some people got away alright
The river have busted through cleard down to Plaquemines
Six feet of water in the streets of Evangelne

CHORUS
Louisiana, Louisiana
They're tyrin' to wash us away
They're tryin' to wash us away
Louisiana, Louisiana
They're tryin' to wash us away
They're tryin' to wash us away

President Coolidge came down in a railroad train
With a little fat man with a note-pad in his hand
The President say, "Little fat man isn't it a shame what the river has
done
To this poor crackers land."

This rendition by Aaron Neville is amazing, inspired and so heartfelt.

Frank's father and uncle (both now deceased) were children in 1927, but old enough to remember the flooding. Their stories would break your heart, too.
