Who still believes in cryptocurrencies?

What are your thoughts on using cryptocurrencies as a way to build a retirement savings account? I've been reading some news articles lately, and some statements really caught my attention. Apparently, there are investors who believe that cryptocurrencies could surpass the value of gold in the future. So, in light of this, do you think it's a wise decision to invest in crypto for long-term gains? By the way, are any of you involved in crypto investments?
