I am about to open an HSA account which I plan on funding fully in 2008. I've read the various threads here, but really hate paying fees.

I have come across Bancorp Bank which purports to be FDIC insured, no start up fee, no monthly management fees, access to approx 1000 mutual fund options for a $4.95 trade fee. While Vanguard funds are not available, I found a Dreyfus S&P 500 index (PEOPX) with a .5% expense ratio. Not perfect, but that's only about $18 per year more than the Vanguard VFINX .18% rate on the full $5800 contribution. The interest on the cash not invested is not stellar, but better than many, and I don't plan on spending this account, so there won't be much cash.

This seems like one of the best deals I have seen if you don't plan on leaving much invested in cash. Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of them? Thanks!
