I am in the process of doing my DD on Medicare Part D Plans. WellCare Value Script is the cheapest in my areas. $13.70. I am planning on enrolling at the latest possible time (3 months after my 65th Birthday). All the drugs I take are free from the local Publix &/or Winn Dixie Pharmacies. So I really do not need a plan at the moment. But I do need the insurance.

Does anyone here use WellCare? If so any comments or advice?

Thanks in advance as usual.

You also picking up a supplement?

If not.. you might just pick a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plan in your area that could likely have no additional cost outside of your part B premium. It will cover you from getting the delayed enrollment fee later on if you need a more comprehensive plan.

If you are getting a supplement. For the love of all that is good buy G instead of F.

And if your looking for Part D. WellCare Value is fine, but also check out SilverScript from CVS, it has a much lower deductible for if you ever do use the plan.
