The Governor of Louisiana just announced that we are doing much better (which isn't news around here), and he says we can transition into Phase 2 on Friday!

The Mayor of New Orleans is concerned and plans to keep the city in Phase 1 for a while longer even though we are recovering more dramatically than the state as a whole. She didn't mention it but she has tourists to worry about, that could carry the virus into and out of the city as they come and go, so maybe that's the reason for the more cautious approach. Anyway it's great that we are making progress.
