DW has already bought tickets, rented a room for the night is mumbling something about M&Ms. She said she has a glider ride planned for tomorrow. Might be an interesting weekend.

Happy VD to all you old farts.

So if we don't see you here, I imagine you'll be tied up! >:D

I think he meant Valentines Day. Now get your mind out of the gutter....

Speaking of which, you know you're an old fart when you refer to it as "VD" rather than "STD".

DW used to work in HR, and used the term "STD" all the time. It took me quite a while to understand she meant "short term disability" and we had some really weird conversations before it sunk in.

So far back that it has changed to 'STI' now! It's a miracle we can even understand one another. And yes the switch in conversation from medicine to insurance can be fraught with peril, especially during the elevator ride.

At this rate will presrcribe chinups on the curb to get minds out of gutter.

I guess STD can be a short term disability if treated right. ;)

M&M comes in more colors than black (or shades of black).

Old one..

A man gets up early Friday morning and gets dressed. Goes downstairs to the garage and gets his fishing and camping gear and throws it in the truck. His wife wakes up and comes down as he's pouring coffee into a thermos and asks what he's doing.
"I took the day off, thought I'd go up to the lake this weekend and get some fishing in."
"But honey, I've hardly seen you at all this month. Between work, your golf and poker games with your friends on the weekends, and my work schedule, I've only had you for 15 minutes to myself. I've got a better idea! Why don't you come back to bed with me. You can tie me up and do whatever you like" she said seductively.
He walks over to her and kisses her passionately, picks her up and carries her upstairs to the bedroom. He throws her on the bed and opens the closet door grabbing a the rope from the naughty bag of pleasures.
he proceeds to grab her wrist, tying it to the bedpost, moving around the bed doing the same to both ankles and her other wrist, rubbing her body with an urgency and courseness that turns her on knowing a hot sweaty session that is long overdue.
Once she's tied up, he walks over to the dresser, grabs his hat and heads for the door.
"What are you doing?! " she cries out in uncertainty and disbelief.
"You said if I tied you up I could do whatever I wanted to..... I'm going fishing, see you on Sunday "

But is she taking you with her:confused:?

Where are all of the anti-porn female folks that always talk about how this porn stuff disrespects women? Oh yea, it's not really porn.:hide:

It's in the eye of the beholder. For what it's worth, and perhaps it's not a discussion appropriate for this forum, there are plenty of people who think this glorifies domestic violence. Sometimes the line between what is truly consensual and what is "consensual" (in quotes) is tough to draw, and I think that's what they are getting at.

This is just a personal observation, but I haven't seen or read anyone make this point yet: several years ago there was a popular book (women's bondage porn) called 9 1/2 Weeks. Hollywood snatched up the film rights but the resulting movie didn't exactly rake in the revenue or blaze any trail cinematically.

Haven't we been here already?

While I enjoyed the movie I was surprised that it was only an R rating. DW tells me the ratings have changed. :)

I was reading an article on what makes a movie NC-17 vs R. One example is the various camera angles which I won't go into
