As hard as it seems, keep going. Make sure your PT knows how you feel. Their job is to push you to get well. I've had one time when the PT realized, the treatment was too much at that time, (I was doing that exercise 2 weeks later).
Folks in PT deserve a tremendous amout of respect from many, very few others understand the dedication required.
Best wishes, for a speedy recovery.

...and don't get discouraged if it is taking longer than you expected to rehab the shoulder. It can be a long, painful, frustrating road back from rotator cuff surgery. Just keep at it... you'll get there! I had my shoulder done a few years ago. During PT I thought my shoulder would never regain flexibility and strength. But eventually it did, and life is so much better now!

I think I might tile-print this as a poster, and put it up by the Bowflex machine:
Decided my daily high intensity cardio isn't probably necessary at the same level anymore. Dropped from 188 to 166 lbs. so I'm nicely in my healthy zone (I'm just under 6'). Started to shift to shorter cardio with abs workout every other day (about 30 minutes), alternating with a strength training routine using mostly dumbbells. One day off per week for recovery and maybe a cheeseburger.
The pic on the right is an old one, Arnold is back in the gym:
Congratulations on the cardio workout results. I think your plan to switch to less cardio and more strength training now is good.
Thanks- this is all pretty experimental at this point. But it seems like things are on the right track.
I suffer from the same problem - although my wife claims it only happens when I reach for my wallet...(Basically, reaching behind me with my right arm has been very painful.)
