Over at DW's daughter's Christmas Day; their eldest daughter, (post #1327), who turned 4 five days earlier, was doing the usual kid thing...not wanting to eat certain items on her plate.

Dad said "If you eat that, then you can have some of this"........while she was eating he tried to introduce certain modifications.........she put down her fork, looked at him, and said "That wasn't the deal!"

Here's a photo of me holding the 5 lb. Hershey's chocolate bar I ordered from Amazon a while back. The online photo and description don't really convey how huge this thing is. At the moment it's broken up and put in ziplock bags in the refrigerator. I'm pretty sure it will be a while before we run out of chocolate.

Oh, holy night!! That would be a problem for me in my house! As I am still working I would chop it up in small pieces and take it to work. I DON'T need that temptation around !!

Probably my most recent photo, and the last one taken at work!

Been growing my hair for a few years. When it started getting noticeably long my daughter said, "Mom! When are you going to cut your hair?!" I said, "When I'm sitting on it."

Here's the DW and I from Sept. at the Grand Canyon. She gets fun, toe tingling reactions from her friends when she shows them.

Lovely pictures.

I did a photo like that, but the angle was not as well thought out, and the wind blew my hat off - I instinctively grabbed for it and nearly fell off the cliff

That hair is beautiful! I do want purple streaks but, I've previously used henna. I tried the purple in a test streak and it only turned the grey purple, it made the rest just really dark. I am hesitant to do anything damaging after so many years of protecting it.

My eldest sister has totally white, long hair and she just got pastel pink, purple, blue, green done and it's so pretty.

Thank you. I like it. The colorist has to use "vivid" colors, and they need to have experience or it can be a disaster. You can use Yelp to find someone if you decide to do it. ?

Full screen is best.

Hope you have a nice life insurance policy out on your wife. Ive witnessed someone almost fall to their death doing this..all to get that cool picture so they can post it to social networks and get thumb ups.

Setting up my yearly earthbox garden on my deck...teaching my neighbor how to do it, and she insisted on paying me in grapefruit vodka drinks. :D

Taken yesterday......DW accompanied by a minuscule representation of the granddaughters:

Back almost 10 years ago I had a survey here on ER.org on naming my second daughter, how time flies. Olivia had an eventful year, she won her town's softball championship (8U) and made the all star team! I helped coach, it was a blast (sported a goatee to look the part). Lia scored a key out in the final inning when we were clinging to a 1 run lead, pitcher and second came over to congratulate her, everyone was so excited! Now we are in the slog of all stars...six days a week! Best shot of me is giving the "number 1". I'm the one without sunglasses...

My other two girls play softball, too! One is in a special needs league and the other is just starting pee-wee. Good times!

They got to be flower girls in our (former) nannies wedding on Kauai. I hope they remember our frequent trips to the islands!

Here's another. Babylon Dive site, Grand Cayman 2014. Probably at about 80ft. North wall on left, the coral spire on the right that makes this site my favorite in the whole world (so far).
