Not just you. Today's almost broke me. I am not a good speller, so the solution word looked weird to me. I got it with a random try. I'm ready to go back to easy mode.

Got a birdy today!

It took everything I could muster to not add 'in more ways than one' (robin).


Today was the first time my phone went to the NYT site. History transferred fine. 29 day streak, with a par today.

Should have got it in 4 but picked the other option that came to mind so took a 5.

Times site hasn’t transferred my history yet or even started new stats being recorded. If I go back in after solving the daily word it doesn’t recognize my device/IP. Not in private mode so not sure what’s going on.

My first three guesses eliminated a lot of letters and with the poor selection that was left, it was easier than I thought it would be.

I've been doing so well the last couple of days, a couple of 4's and 3's and even a 2, just one time. But today stumped me! I finally put in a last word just to give up and finish so I could see the correct word. And no, I never would have gotten that one!

On the other hand, I've been playing Quordle a lot and doing very well with it.

Got it in 4, but once again I just had a mental block and it took me forever to come up with my 3rd guess, I just couldn't think of any valid words with those limits. So when I finally found a 3rd one that fit, I really thought I was done. But no! And my final (4th) guess took a long time, I just didn't see it.

Kinda funny that I didn't, but I don't want to give anything even close to a spoiler, so I won't say more for now.

Oh, the nyt site did pick up my stats today (not yesterday), but on Saturday, I was visiting at DD's and played on a different device, so that day is not included.

OK, this is weird. One letter shows up in one place as green, a second as yellow, and a third place as gray. How is that possible? Haven't solved it yet...
