Alumni gatherings - do you go and what to expect?

If you remember; post your thoughts. I think you would be the focus of the conversations you enter - how are you enjoying life; what are you doing. I would zone out when people start to talk about the company and the working life.

Hi Dex and all, just to close the matter, I did not go to the alumni event as there was a typhoon on that day. The typhoon was strong enough to close primary school activities but all other activities including work remained open. I used to have to go to work during such typhoons and now that I retired, I really wasn't going to commute from home to the event in poor weather conditions. However, I heard 300 alumni members registered to go - not sure how many turned up. I guess others are not as lazy as I am.
