Here’s something I’m trying out that might interest others. It’s an app that helps you explore human anatomy.
Background: a couple of years ago I experienced a fracture of a bone I’d never heard of. It has been taken care of but for the life of me I never could figure out where it really was despite several explanations from physicians. This app displayed clearly where it fits in the body and I think does a nice job. Real doctors (not me for sure) may have different opinions/recommendations but I like this one. I’m using it on Apple devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad).
It’s called “Complete Anatomy” and offered by a company 3D4Medical and Elsevier (with whom I am familiar). There are trial, student, professional & institutional versions at different price points.
