Not to argue, but that's not what you said originally: "I have had some snivvles and a dry cough for a week or 2". You made it sound like these were new onset symptoms, not ones that have been going on for years. Big difference. No, I don't think you need a COVID test if you've had the cough for years. I've seen numerous people come in with symptoms that have been present for weeks or more. I did not COVID test them.A DRY non productive cough (that I have had for years because of the BP Meds) and snivvling are hardly symptoms.
