I had cataract surgery back in February. Everything went ok, but I kept thinking after the normal grittiness feeling (2 weeks or so) there was something else in my right eye. Intermittently I'd feel this huge pressure, sometimes during the night, and pain. Saw an optometrist who said eye pressure is normal and prescribed another round of prednisone.

The intense pressure and pain recently happened again. This time like there was a twig or part of the lens dislodged. I know this sounds ridiculous. This past Thursday the surgeon finally saw me. 10 minutes. I had all the scans and eye pressure checks before the appointment. He said dry eye. But it's only in my right eye. The left eye is completely normal. I've never had a dry eye in my life. Apparently, this is normal or what can happen after cataract surgery. Does anyone relate to this experience?

no cataract surgery, but experience dry eye occasionally.
Per my opt doc--use warm pack to eye/eyelid, gently massage inner eye/tear duct, and lubricate eyes.
I use the systane drops also.
