DW and I just visited Charleston for the first time and this is spot on. What a great, fun city.
Coincidentally, we were in Charleston last week 
Confirmed again that this is our favorite city to visit. Made plans for future visit. This time we rented a five bedroom, five bath house on Folly Beach, and made several day trips to Charleston of about 20 - 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Toured the Yorktown, WWII Aircraft Carrier. Highlight was chatting with Bill, 96 year-old, who flew Hellcat off of Yorktown when he was 21. Quite a character
