There once was a dude name of Gates * Who was destined to rule all our fates * When covid did strike * He said 'Take a hike' * 'And I'll track you and all of your mates'. (Disclaimer : not sure if Gates is into tracking, or just vaxxing, but I can't change the rhyme now!)

To keep the covid at bay
Six feet we must all stay away
No one shall you touch
Even ones that you love very much
Alone you will be on your dying day.

She thought that she just had the flu
She didn't know quite what to do
Her taste when away
Lost her smell for a day
Turns out is was really SARS2

This COVID thing’s really a bummer
We’ve cancelled all our plans for the summer
The kids will stay home
‘round they house they will roam
And we will be certainly glummer

Under confinement, I'm starting to crack
Cabin fever has me shinning like Jack
A bland pantry meal
Has lost all appeal
And I just trimmed my hair with a vac

I'm out for my walk keep away
Six feet back at the least hear me say
And if you don't
or even you won't
I'll curse you the rest of the day

Lots of good limericks, but Robbie’s acing it. :)

2020 has already been a bad year
A parallel universe or something quite queer
I’m ready for normal again
To come back from wherever it’s been
I’m tired of living in fear

But I still wonder about a second wave
Should I stay hunkered down in my cave
My crystal ball is still hazy
And it’s being quite lazy
A vaccine we need us to save

Until then I’ll try and live life
With family and of course dear wife
I’ll try to avoid
But not be paranoid
And maybe reduce some strife
