I have a VPN configured on my home router I use when traveling. It allows me to connect to my Macbook, which I leave at home, from my iPad. I also use it for accessing US centric content and anything financial.

As an interesting side-note, I browse this forum using the app. It doesn’t work for me when I’m in foreign countries. So I have to connect to my home VPN in order to browse the forums. I always meant to ask the moderators about this, but it’s hasn’t been a major issue since it works fine through my VPN.
