No electric motors allowed? DD's in-laws have a place on a small 36a pond near us that prohibits gas motors but doe allow electric. They have a swim raft and bolted a motor mount to it and put on an electric motor and a few patio chairs and putt around the pond for a cocktail cruise.
The backyard
Oh my, a scene where a butler in black tie and tails strides by with a silver tray of martinis.
We see it from our patio in West Vancouver! From here to Everett on the left HS.Ding, ding, ding, that's correct!
Haven't heard of this...Lets not forget each of us's portion of the newely established in NH, ME, & others R.E., residential & commercial "view" taxation scheme, sweeping the country.
How much is to much?
Its to much for me.
Good luck all!
It's nothing new, or "newely" established. https://www.citizenscount.org/news/does-nh-have-view-tax has an explanation of the misconception. Most places have a land valuation, and a structure valuation. My nice view lot is appraised higher than non-view lots, but less than some of the really nice view lots.Haven't heard of this...

Timely thread..we close this week on our retirement home with 250+ ft of frontage on a small, no-motor lake with amazing views from inside and outside the house.
Great thread! Such amazing views.
Here’s mine. From the porch and from the new pool I had built.
We see this guy from our livingroom windows. Do you know what mountain it is?
Adams? Plus Columbia river?
