Do you have an amazing view - can I see?

Great pics
AZ always seems to have beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Winter and summer views of Lake Michigan from our living room. Love having the change of seasons here.

Here is are the views from our back porch and back prairie. Pictures are from early spring and late spring. We can't see/hear any neighbors and we like it that way. Although we talk to the neighbors more often (every other day) than our suburban home. Around Dallas, TX.

Is that Mount Baker?

When I lived in Bellingham I used to love the times of year that my work coincided with sunrise over Baker on the way to work, and sunset over Lummi and the San Juan Islands on the way home. (I would take the coastal route, vs freeway during that time of year.)

Posted this shot from the deck a couple of times.IMG_0045.jpg

We have a view of a tidal creek and the ocean in the distance...

Sunrise can be wonderful. The wildlife is constantly changing, and then we have Jake, our neighborhood alligator.

We can drop our kayaks in the creek and paddle out to the ocean...this is our Forever Home.

Very nice, but does Jake bother you when you kayak?

Taken this morning from our west property boundary, my house is east and tucked into a small hollow.

To many trees around the house to get much of our view.

These views are spectacular! My view is not going to impress anybody at all, even slightly. But to me, it is heaven.

My house is just on a very small lot in a highly urban area. But to me it's the best view in the world, because it's mine.

I'm currently at my summer place. Backyard view across Cook Inlet, mountain in the picture is Redoubt, a little over 10,000 ft and an active volcano. Out of frame further south would be Illiamna and further south of that, Augustine. To the north is Spur. All active volcanoes and all have erupted during my 40 years owning my Alaska summer place.

End of Oct I'll move to winter quarters outside of Tucson.

The views we are shopping for might include a distant Mt. Baker and the Straits of Juan De Fuca, but we might settle for the Olympic mountains instead.
We have a budget for the land.
Sample of the Olympics from Sequim.
mts.webp

2 things I recall about Sequim: Joe Rantz of Olympics and "Boys in the Boat" fame was from there and supposedly there exists a non-rainy microclimate there?

Someone can confirm or deny that last point.

there is a significant rainshadow there.
