Back in the age of the dinosaur I traded options and got pretty fancy with no results. Likewise with alternatives, CEF's and real estate with varying degrees of success. Now that I've reached an age where I really shouldn't trust my intellect, I am concentrating on simplicity. Currently 35/60/5 in retirement funds, with alerts set for VTI at <110 and >170 to buy or sell. Otherwise I pay no attention and I'm quite comfortable. That's my own personal SWAN.
