Etiquette or expecations for high school graduation invites?

I have invited people that i have not seen very often to events as a way of reaching out to continue the friendship. They do the same for me. We all get busy in life and can't attend every event that we are invited to, however, it feels nice when someone includes you in their special moment.

... and a book on money and finances. Book is usually in the 10-15 dollar range.

I think the college graduation will be handled in a much more adult manner... by the adults as well as by the students.

The craziest graduation I went to was my daughter's from U Mass .They popped champagne and drank it during graduation . There was also graduates with balloon animals on their caps & a large beach ball was tossed around . Luckily her graduation from BU was more sedate .
