Yahoo! I'm overweight! What an accomplishment! LOL
I shot right past that 227 number too. I've been in mega health mode this week as the doc appt. is a week from Friday, and it's paying off weight-wise.
Interestingly, and somewhat depressingly, I ran some blood tests on myself. I like to know ahead of time what the doc is going to see so I don't get blindsided like I did when I got diagnosed Type II diabetic. I used one of the WallyWorld mail in Ha1c tests for my 3 month blood sugar level, and surprisingly came in at 5.9 (6 or below is normal). So hooray for that.
However, I have a CardioChek testing device I bought a while back, and it says my cholesterol and triglycerides are significantly higher than I thought they'd be. As usual, my good cholesterol (HDL) is way low. Not much I can do about that (darn genetics).
So anyway, I guess I'm going to get put on meds after all, just maybe not for the diabetes. I hate the concept, so I'm going to continue the healthy lifestyle moving forward and see if I can get back off them in the future. Maybe I'll try the personal trainer route myself. I could use a muscle or two.
