I like the Shiraz and the Cabernet.. also the Chardonay.

I have tasted Yellow Tail wine and find it very good for the price. It does not have much of a finish, but I like the dry fruity quality. Most of the wines I drink are in the 10-20 dollar range.

I am not a wine drinker, but I heard that modest drinking (e.g., one drink a day) will reduce the chance of heart attack and enchance memory power. Cheer.

Well, I have posted on my endorsement of "Yellowtail"
before. Great stuff! A couple of days ago DW returned home with
5 bottles she picked up in a "close out "somewhere.

Ecco Domani pinot grigio
Lindemans Chardonnay
Walnut Crest Chardonnay

After a prodigous career of wine quaffing in all price ranges, I've turned tail too. I like the darn stuff. The local merchant says its the #1 brand seller in America.

I tried it once and didn't like it. A second chance is in order, cause I like to keep in the 10-20 dollar range myself, and I love wine.
If you haven't tried Indaba Chardonnay, you might. And it's less than 10 bucks.

I used to spend many weekends in Napa and Sonoma, filling my trunk up with cases of good wines. I can tell the difference between a $5, $40 and $100 bottle. Yellowtails taste like pretty good wines that I'd pay $10-12 per 750ml bottle. I get them for ~$7 per 1.5l at the local sams. I consider them quite drinkable.
While I can certainly tell the difference and appreciate the character of a wine that costs 5x as much, I cant say that such a wine ever really did anything for me that was worth the cost.
Well there was this gal named Becky who was a wine sommelier at one of the local restaurants...after she accepted an invitation to share a truly superb $100 bottle of old reserve cabernet with me her pants fell off. So I guess there is something to be said for expensive wines from time to time.
I need to steer clear of those these days though. I suspect that if Beckys pants fell off at my house these days my wife wouldnt be very happy at all.
But tastes vary wildly. Drink what makes you happy. With or without pants. I've tried some wines that critics liked a lot and hated them. Then again, two buck chuck's shiraz was one of the finalists in a major wine tasting extravaganza. Much to the chagrin of the wine critics who picked it from a blind taste test...

The wine was Rhineskeller or Rhineland. Anybody remember the green bottle which was shaped like a bunch of grapes . The effect was the same.
That was some summer and she would have made some sommelier
