Old Cars - What Your Mileage?

2005 Volvo XC-70. 140K miles. Bought it as a CPO with 13K miles in 2006. Getting kinda sick of it but can't bring myself to spend $30K - $40K on a replacement until I really have to. My first Volvo, a 1987 240 gave me 175K miles.

2006 Hyundai Tucson, 143K. My DW bought it new several months before we met. As a car guy I was skeptical at first but it has been so reliable and good to drive that I am a believer. Nothing but oil changes and an upper rad hose. Cheap to run & insure. She still loves the AWD, sunroof and heated leather so I hope it keeps running so I can keep buying toys for myself!

2000 Acrua 3.2 TL, 212,345 miles. Still can handle +70 MPH in the left lane on the tollways in Houston.:D:D Thinking about keeping it to 2020!:)

1997 Acura Integra GS-R 133K

First 3 years I put 50K on it (driving about 400 miles a week or so for work)
Next 15 years I put about 80K on it (driving between 50-75 miles a week for work)
Since I retired almost 2 years ago, 3K on it. 400 miles in one weekend trip :D. I ride my bike much more than I drive now. I expect the car to last a LONG time at this rate....probably past the time they make parts for it and then I'll have to get rid of it

1956 Willys Jeep CJ5 ...102k ...another 61 years and I will hit 200k!

You're obviously secure in your masculinity. Is that the only Prius in TX?
Good thing the cup of coffee was not at my lips when I first read that.

I wouldn't think of 2004 as old, but everyone who gets in remarks on the tape deck of my Acura RSX. It has 156k on the odometer. Brakes, tires, and clutch have been replaced, and a couple superfluous parts of the exhaust system have rusted off; otherwise she's mostly original and the tape deck still works!

DW has an 07 Ford Focus. Not sure how many miles it has, but it's on its third transmission.

My 2003 WV Eurovan has just over 275K miles and still going strong...

2008 Grand Cherokee - 143,000 miles and doing great. My last one had 198k when I traded it in for this one.

1990 Acura Integra RS with 125,000 mi. Still runs fine and has had no expenses other than routine maintenance.

2006 Scion XB - Recently rolled over 200,000. Still moving along just fine! FYI, we bought it in Aug. 2015 with 179,000 on it, $4500. Well worth it!

1996 Cadillac SLS 82,000 mi.
1998 Lincoln Town Signature 113,000 mi.

I drive my dad's 2000 Mercury Sable station wagon, which was top of the line when he bought it. I inherited it in 2011 with 13000 miles and it now has 50,000. It seats 7, which works well when we have our 5 grandchildren visiting. Not long ago, a man tried to buy it from me in the Walgreen's parking lot. He said less than 300 were made with the more powerful engine in the SW style and he had been looking for one. He kept offering more until he got to $4000, but I said no. I couldn't replace it for that.
