Repairing torn tupperware lids

Duct tape.

Duct tape leaves a sticky mess. Gaff tape. I wouldn’t use either near food though.

We have a few Tupperware pieces-lids tore and they were difficult to close. 20 years ago DH bought a large Rubbermaid set with various sizes. Not a single torn lid. Not worried much about lids touching food. Not completely airtight but fine for leftovers. Plus the pieces nest well and don’t break like glass bowls.
