I looked him up. Apparently a DJ, maybe in California. Never heard of him but I’m on the east coast.

Jim Ladd was a legendary American disc jockey, radio producer, and writer, known as one of the last true freeform rock DJs in the United States. He sadly passed away on December 16, 2023, leaving behind a rich legacy in the world of radio and music.

Jim Ladd was mostly a DJ on KLOS and KMET in Los Angeles.
