RIP Betty Lynn, aka Thelma. I always liked her. Not sure what she saw in Barney though.

She was alright. But lets face it, neither one of those characters were anything special in looks or personality or anything else. Life isn't fair.

I always thought it was ironic that she moved to Mt. Airy, NC to get away from crime, but there she was robbed! By some guy named Shirley something-or-other.

Just begs for the old joke "Surely you must be joking!"

On a serious note though, rest in peace, Thelma Lou. You had a long life, hope it was a good, fulfilled one!

Not to take anything away from Thelma but I always thought Barney's later girlfriend Peaches was a lot more fun.
