Vanguard not permitting certain ETFs

Just be aware that Vanguard will not permit orders for the new ETFs in the forbidden class that shall not be named (like IBIT). Fidelity and Schwab do permit it but with appropriate risk levels and signed disclaimers.

Even though I would not want to buy these I find it unacceptable that they feel they can limit what investments I can make since I am in a self directed account.

No signed disclaimers required at Fidelity for their FBTC ETF. Fido does have it's own separate digital assets "group" that requires a special account signup.
My gambling money (actually a barbell to UST/CD/GSE bonds) is up 34% since January.
