Pretty much finished packing; tomorrow the moving van comes.
Hope the move today went well! I know it may take a while before you have the time, and internet connection, to tell us...

Deal! Friday is table bussing day, so come on up in spirit.Cleaning and cooking is SO much more fun when done as a volunteer and with a social group!

Great choice. My granddaughter has one of these too, and loves it.Yesterday we went to my SO's granddaughter's birthday party . Twenty squealing little girls . My present "An easy bake oven " got rave reviews from the little girls and their Moms.
Trying to catch up on some paperwork since I've been out of town for a couple of weeks. Hopefully I can catch up on my sleep the next couple of days.
I went to MO to be with my parents as momma had to be put in the hospital. Fortunately after just three days they were able to release her back in the nursing home. I stayed with daddy and gave him a break by visiting momma at the nursing home and feeding her. I also cleaned his house and decluttered a couple of rooms.
For now the best we can do is ensure momma is comfortable.
It's been a challenging year to say the least.
However, I'm still able to smile.... I took a pic of this photograph that hangs on the wall at my parent's house. It's my favorite photo of my momma (taken in 1958). ...and yes, she's holding me.
....and that's the main thing. You see? However, I'm still able to smile....

Did you have to go to a doctor first?

I got my regular flu shot yesterday, and boy is my arm sore.
The person at the pharmacy said that "everyone in her family had the flu," which is total baloney, since there have been no outbreaks of flu yet.
Around here, they use the word "flu" to mean "very sick."
