So what makes an Apple wonderful? I think it has to do with religion more than performance, ease of use, and price.

Our Computers (2 notebooks and 1 desktop) are PC Orthodox -They attend The Church in the Dell. :D

Re: What's Your Computer's Religion?

Dell customer service: "Dell hath no fury like a customer scorned..."

Written on the Gateway to Dell: "Abandon all hope ye who enter here..."

Big Box electronic store: "The devil is in the retails..."

Windows security: "Hole-ier than thou..."

Dell from Hell. Actually it hauls a$$. I can't complain other than the horrible customer service.

E-Machines with Windows XP loaded. Have replaced/repaired
everything since the purchase in 2001. Still, at $399
(after rebates), I'm not complaining.

Mac, always and forever.

Currently a PowerBook and a really beautiful desk top.....

Dell Inspiron 9300 loaded.
Dell Dimension XPS 733
Dell Dimension XPS 133
Dell Dimension P90 (see a trend yet?)

Compaq Armada 73XX (2 of them)  nice for door stops.  Too lazy to dispose of properly.

Mac G4 and a no name brand PC. I use an A/B switch for one LCD monitor. The Mac is for work but I'll keep it when I leave.

Mac, I don't allow anything made by Bill Gates in the house.

Currently typing on my 12" PB, wife has a 12" iBook and we have an old G4 as a server in the back room for doing backups to and print server duty. All connected with wireless.

Do you use floppys to boot your operating system?? :D

Yep. I'm a whiz at VisiCalc. But it did get a little slow after I upgraded to Windows 98 last month. Maybe I picked up a virus or some spyware...

Are you a whiz at Wordstar too?? How about Lotus 1-2-3? :D

I just can't let go of Windows 95.  :D

Since I found a sucker to buy my commodore 64, I now have a HP on the desk.
Nary a problem :) (knocking on wood with vigar)
A Dell on my lap.  And yes it is the son of the Dell made in hell.

Desktop is an old but upgraded G4 Mac and wife has the first generation G4Powerbook. Wireless hookup which works well with visiting Macs & P Cs.

Well, okay, there's also a circa 1985 MacPlus and an original iMac in the attic. Technically I still have them. :)
