Why is TSLA so lackluster?

Tesla’s next rabbit to pull out of the hat may be its charging network. I have to assume Tesla is charging Ford, GM, and others a pretty penny to allow their EVs to charge at the Tesla sites. Plus the various EV owners have to pay when they charge.
