Worried I have a blind spot

Bum, did they say why it became impossible to care for her? Was it health problems of their own or did she need too much care?

She needed too much care and was in fragile health, added to the 2 other children in the house it was too much for them. Everyone enjoyed the weekends. We did too when they visited. It seemed to me like it would have been a lifetime commitment. A few years ago they moved away and we lost touch.
