David and Koko

Two interesting celebrities no longer with us. David Carradine found hung in his hotel room in Bankok. Koko Taylor from complications of surgery in Chicago. What a voice on that woman. Have a friend who knew her, and tells great stories. Another friend who lived in the same apartment complex in Hollyweird as D.C. More interesting stories.

We saw Koko in a Dallas club circa 1998. She put on an awesome show. A few times I was alarmed that she was doing too much. But, she kept wiping her face with tissues and kept belting the tunes out... She was amazing.
