Re: If Women Ran The Country

I vote for the Dixie Chicks.

Pres, V Pres, and Sec of State.

We'd be a cool country with three honky tonk women runnin us and just think, Dixie Chicks.

Class personified.

They probably wouldn't be much worse than current or past executives/cabinets.

Though I'd pick the pussycat dolls over the dixie chicks.

Re: If Women Ran The Country

the g-string-karin_1 part or the "viewed 13 times" part? :D

I'd love to be a fly on your wall:
"What's wrong, couldn't quite see her clearly the first 12 times?" :D :D :D

Re: If Women Ran The Country

The word "Dixie" gives me the hives, sickens me and otherwise reveals the IQ of those using it.

I hate Dixie as a word.

Damn, how stupid can a person be.

Re: If Women Ran The Country

Hey! Some of us live in Dixie--and like it. And what about Dixie cups?!

Re: If Women Ran The Country

What about Dixie and Pixie, the rats.

Dixie=I'm not all...

I read  (IIRC in the WSJ) that a birth control pill coming on the market soon will be a pill you take every day, so no more periods

Martha, Jay Leno made reference to this a couple of nights ago.  His observation:

"And you thought we couldn't win the war on terror."

Since this is a pointless thread. . . .

I read  (IIRC in the WSJ) that a birth control pill coming on the market soon will be a pill you take every day, so no more periods

In fact, the few days off for current birth control pills was never necessary, it was just to get women to think that the pill didn't really interfer with their normal cycles.  Turns out that they didn't tell us that the bleeding on the days off was withdrawl from pill bleeding, not the natural shedding of the uterus lining.

EDIT:  It looks like you are stuck with 4 a year:  http://www.cnn.com/2003/HEALTH/09/04/new.birth.control/

Actually from what I understand the new pill is just a marketing gimic. You can keep taking the old pills and just skip the 7 fake ones. I did this for years. (With doctor's approval, of course!)
