A decision...............an older guy about 2 miles away is moving to Washington state to live near his son. He has been having a "moving sale"
for 3 months but still is loaded with "stuff". I stopped by yesterday and
asked what he intended to do with whatever does not sell before he leaves (early July). He says, he will have Goodwill or The Salvation Army
pick it up. What's left goes into the dumpster. Then he says, "or I will sell
it all to you (everything he is not taking along) for $200". I already bought a bunch of stuff. This is quite tempting as I am guessing by careful selling I might make $1,000 to $2,000. But, now we are getting into the dreaded
"work". I don't mind picking through the stuff, it's the loading and hauling
I don't care for. Even DW (a real "junker") isn't too sure. We don't have room to store it either. It would have to go straight to the auction barn.
Will probably pass. It's a shame to get so lazy.
