It snowed pretty much all last night and today. We really needed the moisture. It will likely all be melted by the morning. Its very muddy right now.

Winter has gone and summer has arrived in Chicagoland without having a spring. But my iPhone weather app still thinks that there is a chance of a winter storm.

Our highs have been in the mid 90's for the past four or five days. Summer is definitely here! This is warm for May, even here in New Orleans. Whew, what a scorcher today.

Due to the new HVAC system I had installed in 2016, I didn't realize how hot it was outside until I looked online and then later went out into the inferno out there.

The new HVAC wasn't cheap but worth every penny ($7200, so 720,000 pennies). :) Since it is newer and more energy efficient, my energy bills are lower too.

Thank you! I'm thrilled to be making this change, which has been in the works for quite a while. I loved being an Admin, and helping out all that I could, but now I'm ready to put that aside and just post. :)

Thanks for all the hard work and gobs of time while on duty. :)

This has been such a hot summer! Whew. Is it hot where you live?

Here, it is insanely hot (which is how we know it is New Orleans in July! ). The temperatures shown by Wunderground (below) are a little higher than the official temperatures, but still, gosh. Opening the door to go outside, feels like opening the door to an oven. I am so glad to have my new AC system which keeps things nice and cool inside.

Oh well, at least there aren't any hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico at the moment... :)

Note the "feels like" temperature. :peace:

I just waked the dog for a 1/2 hour here in Houston and we are both done in.

Not too bad here, 86° a little humid but not too bad. Forecast is for warmer later in the week ~90° but I'm fine with that. Saturday we're going over to my cousin's grandson's house and fly R/C airplanes, last time we were rained out.

It's an insane 71°F here right now. The next week is 50° for a low and 80° F high with a chance of rain. Some infrequent clouds. We've used our AC three times this year for part of the day. I hope it rains more.

Hot as can be in FLA, but we do love it. In the summer, one rarely has to look at the forecast. 91 humid and some rain.

Don't know exactly where you are but report back in January. I'll do the same!

A "feels like" of 133. That's up there. In Chicago, people freak out when the "feels like" hits 100.

You bet!

Hopefully we're below zero F and have snow. A lot of snow! The kind they report in feet.

It's down to 100 today from 118 last week in SoCal. Our pool water temperature is a balmy 88 degrees. We have been out swimming every night this past week.

I think it broke 90 in Tacoma today, but summers are dry here, so not so bad. I hated those midwestern, muggy, buggy, stifling summers as a child.

I'm just checking the thermometer ... 73, after topping out today at 83. But humidity is up. I think we can expect some rain.

Lots of 90s and high humidity this summer in Southern Ontario. Had to come to Africa to escape it... highs in the mid-50s and lows in the high 40s this week. We could see our breath yesterday morning. :(

Winter there? [emoji12]

It's 90°f today and humid(12%). Its supposed to be in the 80s/50s with some chance of rain the next week.

110* here. Bring out the sponges...I'm melting....
Yikes! That is SO HOT. Ice water, anybody?

We have been having cloudy weather and rain off and on lately, so our temperatures are lower. Today's high was 95F, with a 40% chance of rain.
