I'm leaving, goodbye ER forum!

I have decided to permanently delete my ER forum account. It requires way too much time and is detracting from my relationships with real world family and friends and is destroying personal and work productivity. So goodbye!

Over the years I have found many friends here and established a number of relationships I hope to maintain. I have learned a lot about investing, finances and so much more. So thank you to all for making this a wonderful community!

I will try to check in later and respond to posts here one final time.

And I renounced my GOP Membership, sold my guns, and my truck, threw away my boots, traded my dog for a cat, joined the DEM's, ACLU, PETA, Greenpeace, and bought a pair of used Birkenstocks and a new Prius. After tofu and sprouts for lunch, I am going to the post office to send a check to ACORN.

But seriously, due to recent market performance, particularly the emerging markets sector (in which I have a lot of our net worth invested), we are finally at a point that we are financially independent and seriously considering retiring early in the next year.
